The problem

A card catalog, a physical collection, and a deck plan can tell three different stories. The product needs to connect discovery to the cards a player actually owns.

The build

  • Public card search supports names, set references, and descriptions of what a card should do.
  • Collection and deck workspaces expose six layouts with independent grouping, sorting, order, and advanced display choices.
  • Ownership and missing copies inform deck decisions, while card details bring rules and printing information into the same flow.
  1. Find a card
  2. Read its details
  3. Connect ownership
  4. Build a deck

A decision that shaped it

Let people choose the view that matches their task. Finding a card, comparing printings, and reading a decklist should not force the same layout.
